We are always looking for new people to join our team.

We are a tech startup - our software is at the heart of what we do. We are looking for a product-focussed engineer who doesn't mind learning new things and getting their hands dirty on any part of the stack. Our core technologies are React, React Native and good ol' Ruby on Rails.


Your Day to Day


Crafting experiences our users will love: you'll be a driving part alongside our CTO of the entire development cycle, from research & gathering user feedback right through to designing solutions, implementing them in composable reusable components and publishing to our users.


Building out our data infrastructure: your main impact will be in writing React and React Native, but with such a small team you'll also get the chance to work on our backend operations. Not too familiar with Ruby on Rails? Our CTO Thomas used to teach Rails bootcamps so you'll be up to speed in no time!


Big picture tech thinking: the code you write will help hundreds of tomorrow's most exciting startups get off the ground, but why stop there? You're encouraged to keep up-to-date on the wider field of tech (for example through events) and introduce new ideas and suggestions that could make Pitchdrive better.

About you


You have a strong interest in innovation and entrepreneurship and you have mastered the art of formal communication (your job will include communicating with C-level executives and top investors). Additionally, you are structured and highly empathetic (your job will include relationship building with stakeholders). You are persistent and know how to frame your efforts in the bigger strategic picture. You'll be a vital member of the team and will have the opportunity to work on different objectives across the entire organization.


Responsibilities


  • Collaborating with the Head of Partnerships and the Digital Marketing Marketing in setting up mass outreach campaigns
  • Reporting on the relevant metrics of each campaign, supporting Pitchdrive in data-driven high-level strategic decision making
  • Being in the lead for the monthly newsletter (again, using this as a tool to get customer insights)
  • Keeping the CRM up-to-date
  • Coming up with outreach strategies, together with the Head of Partnerships you'll play an extremely important role in deciding which industries and geographic regions to target

You are a highly driven and entrepreneurial person with great creative skills. You know how to set up online campaigns and how to translate results from marketing efforts to customer insights and actionable strategic objectives. Knowing how to retarget prospects and having a basic understanding of growth hacking are a big bonus (feedback loops, A/B testing, etc.). Additionally, you will handle the interactions via social media: being empathetic, customer-centric, having a good sense of humour and being fluent in English are prerequisites for this job. Most importantly, you have a growth mindset and take every opportunity you possibly can to learn and improve.
